An edited version of the film is featured in an episode of This Movie Sucks! where it is made fun of by Ed the Sock, Ron Sparks, and Liana K. It is one of the few episodes of the season where the entire show is dedicated to one full movie instead of two movies edited down into a "double feature"; though a Pop Eye the Sailor Man cartoon was also played for time.
